Dec. 13

7:45 a.m. Medical. Fifth Avenue E. An officer was dispatched for a report of an unresponsive female. The officer arrived on scene and could see the female on the floor through a kitchen window. The officer kicked open the front door to gain entry into the home. The officer found the female responsive but very confused. The female stated she had possibly fallen. Gold Cross Ambulance arrived on scene and the officer assisted with loading the patient for transport to the St. Cloud Hospital.

7:01 p.m. Assault. Pinecone Road N. Officers were dispatched for a report of two juvenile males fighting. Officers were advised one of the males had a pipe and was possibly using it as a weapon. Officers arrived on scene and separated the two parties. Officers recovered statements from all involved. The incident is pending charges.

Dec. 14

1:46 a.m. Traffic stop. 21 CR 120. While on routine patrol and traveling south on CR 1 from Heritage Drive, an officer observed a vehicle driving in front of him. The officer ran a routine license-plate check and discovered the female registered owner had a revoked license. The officer observed a female to be driving so he initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle as it pulled into the Walmart parking lot. The female driver denied she was the registered owner and didn’t have any form of identification on her. The officer was able to identify the female using her name and date of birth. Through further investigation, the officer discovered this woman also had a revoked license. The female was cited for driving after revocation and released. The vehicle was parked for the remainder of the day.

Dec. 15

4:34 p.m. Medical. LeSauk Drive. An officer was dispatched for a report of a 38-year-old male with food poisoning. The officer arrived on scene and supplied high-flow oxygen to the male. The male complained of dizziness. Gold Cross arrived on scene and the officer assisted with loading the patient for transport to the St. Cloud Hospital.

2:03 p.m. Medical. Brianna Drive. Officers were dispatched for a report of a 68-year-old female with chest pain. Officers arrived on scene and located the female lying down in her resident room. Officers provided oxygen and monitored her condition until Gold Cross arrived on scene. Officers then assisted as necessary.

Dec. 16

3:08 p.m. Warrant. Sunset Avenue. While conducting a follow up to an unrelated call, an officer observed a male party at a residence who he recognized as possibly being wanted. The officer looked up the wanted male and learned he still had an active warrant out of Anoka for felony probation violation. The officer made contact with the male and the male identified himself as the wanted party. The male was placed under arrest and was transported to the Stearns County Jail without incident.

5:24 p.m. Shoplifter. 21 CR 120. An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a report of a male shoplifter. The officer arrived on scene and located the male inside the loss-prevention office. The male party was cooperative and admitted to shoplifting. All stolen items were returned and the male was placed under arrest and charged with misdemeanor theft.

Dec. 17

12:27 a.m. Loud music. Third Street N. An officer was dispatched for a report of loud music. The officer arrived on scene and observed the music could be heard and felt well over the property line. The officer made contact with a male party at the residence and told him of the complaint. The male agreed to turn the music down for the evening. At 1 a.m., the officer was called back to the residence for another complaint of loud music. The officer returned to the residence and issued the male a citation for a noise-ordinance violation.

Dec. 18

1:06 a.m. Parking violation. 10th Avenue N. While on routine patrol, an officer observed a vehicle parked in the roadway in violation of the city winter-parking ordinance. The officer issued a citation to the registered owner for the violation and placed it on the vehicle.

6:32 p.m. Vehicle in the ditch. CR 1/Heritage Drive. Officers were dispatched for a report of a truck and trailer that had tipped over. Officers arrived on scene and observed multiple trees in the northbound lane of Riverside Avenue S. at the roundabout. The trailer involved was on its side on the shoulder. No injuries were reported. The driver of the truck stated he was turning left on the south side of the roundabout to go northbound when the trailer tipped causing him to lose his load. State patrol arrived on scene and gathered evidence to conduct a DOT investigation. Officers conducted traffic control until the roadway was clear.

Dec. 19

7:04 p.m. DWI. Second Street S. Officers were dispatched for a report of a possibly impaired driver. An officer arrived in the area, located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The officer made contact with the driver and observed odors of alcohol. Officers conducted field-sobriety testing on the driver and the driver failed all testing. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Stearns County Jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
