Ben Drewes was recently appointed by the Sartell City Council to fill a vacancy on the Sartell Economic Development Commission.
Drewes is one of four applicants who was interviewed by the council at a special meeting held Feb. 9.
He was appointed to a three-year term, which will end Dec. 31, 2018.
Drewes is technology advisor for Marco in St. Cloud; he advises clients on a multitude of office equipment and services. He has been with Marco for nearly 20 years and has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from St. Cloud State University. He is a member of the American Marketing Association.
Other members of the commission are Jim Illies Jr; Dawn Loberg; Mike Schoenecker, Bruce Stainbrook, Julie Whitney, Heladio Zavala and Chad Zimmerman.
