Eden Lake Township Medical

On August 15, 2025, at approximately 10:56 a.m., the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office responded to a medical at the address 18257 Browns Lake Road in Eden Lake Township. When deputies arrived on scene, they learned Daniel Fredin, 35, of Montgomery, was using a garden hose to clean gutters at the residence. He was standing on a steel roof and was spraying the gutters when he slipped, tried to catch himself, but fell approximately 12 feet onto a concrete walkway. Witnesses saw Daniel land on his feet, fall backwards on to his hip, shoulder, and then striking the back of his head. Daniel was transported via helicopter for medical treatment to the St. Cloud ETC. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Paynesville Police Department, Eden Valley Fire Department, North Memorial Air Care, and CentraCare Ambulance-Paynesville responded to the medical call.
