Tom Emmer’s endorsement of Donald Trump last summer, his unwillingness to publicly hold Trump accountable and his support of the now failed AHCA proves Congressman Emmer is not a leader who serves his constituents. Minnesota needs a representative who listens to and serves the people of the Sixth District.
After numerous calls, office visits, one-on-one meetings with staffers, faxes, emails and a town hall with more than 1,000 people in attendance, it seems as if Emmer has ignored the wishes of his district in favor of supporting the chaotic Trump administration. It would serve Emmer well to abandon a sinking ship and head to dry land if he wants to be re-elected next year. The people of Minnesota’s Sixth District deserve a representative who serves them.
