Drivers sought
Volunteer drivers provide rides using their vehicles to residents of Stearns, Benton, Sherburne and Morrison counties. Passengers are assigned to volunteers by the Tri-CAP dispatch center and may be traveling to medical appointments or a variety of other destinations. Volunteer drivers are reimbursed at the Federal IRS rate and may also be eligible for some meal reimbursements. Volunteer drivers provide an important service to those in need in the tri-county area. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Tri-CAP at https://tricap.org/volunteer/ or call 320-251-1612.
Habitat for Humanity seeks construction volunteers
A new year means new beginnings, and what better way to start your year off right than by volunteering for a great cause on a Habitat build? Each hour you volunteer your time gets their partner homebuyers one step closer to finally purchasing an affordable and healthy home for them and their families. Most build sites have work areas that are heated and covered. Join their mission by signing up for a shift in January on their website: www.cmhfh.org/volunteer-your-time or call 320-656-8890.
Mail Delivery
Country Manor is looking for a volunteer to deliver mail to residents and patients in their care center and rapid recovery. Get in your steps while you assist residents in getting their mail each week. Contact Inga, Volunteer Coordinator, for more information! 320-258-8936 or igerads@countrymanor.org.
Do you love animals?
Volunteers are essential to everything they do at the Tri-County Humane Society! Shelter volunteers provide hands-on animal care such as cleaning, grooming, exercising, and socializing the animals while they wait for their new homes. In addition, volunteers assist with kennel cleaning, general housekeeping, and customer service. They could not save the lives they do without volunteers! Other volunteer opportunities include dog walking, surgery assisting, animal photography, office work/data entry, Re-Tail Revisited shifts, yardwork, building maintenance, fundraising events, humane education, and committee work. If you have a special skill or trade that you feel may be beneficial to their shelter, please share it. Wherever your talents lie, TCHS welcomes you!
