A fundraiser dubbed “A Walk in the Park” will take place Tuesday, March 15 at the Grands at Mulligans in Sartell. The pasta dinner will run from 5-8:30 p.m., a silent auction from 5-9 p.m.

It will be the third annual “What Would BriAnna Do?” fundraiser for an Angel of Hope project in south Sartell.

BriAnna Kruzel was an 18-year-old Sartell girl who died at home suddenly and unexpectedly Sept. 28, 2013. Family and friends then started the “What Would BriAnna Do?” foundation to honor her memory by supporting local causes. Kruzel loved to volunteer her time to several organizations.

The foundation plans to place an angel statue by Lake Francis in south Sartell in the area known as the Town Square Development. The angel will be a permanent monument and memory space where children who have died too soon can be remembered by loved ones and others.

Tickets must be purchased in advance at Sartell City Hall, by calling Tami Kruzel (BriAnna’s mother) at 320-492-4691 or by visiting the foundation’s website at WWBDinc.org.
