Roy G. Walz, 84 of Sauk Centre, died Tuesday, April 16 at the St. Cloud Hospital due to complications from a surgery.
His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 26 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Inurnment will be held in the parish cemetery following the service with military honors by the Sauk Centre United Veteran Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Parish prayers will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Survivors include his five children: Brad (Carla) Walz of Andover, Victoria Pfeffer of Sauk Centre, Michelle Engle of Westport, Paul Walz of Andover and Sarah (Josh) Trisko of Sauk Centre; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
