The family-owned House of Pizza, a former popular Sartell dining place, will return to Sartell sometime in early 2026 – inside the Coborn’s Super Store at Pinecone Road N.
The return of the pizza restaurant is the result of an agreement between Coborn’s and House of Pizza owner Brandon Testa. Appropriately enough, that grocery store is very near where the House of Pizza shop used to be in Pine Cone Marketplace Mall. The pizza restaurant was located there for 21 years until it closed in February 2024. In the meantime, before and after that closing, another House of Pizza was and remains at a location in west St. Cloud.
The new Sartell House of Pizza, like its former incarnation, will have in-store dining as well as take-out and delivery options.
“House of Pizza and Coborn’s on Pinecone Road have been neighbors for 21 years, so we are extremely excited to be coming back to Sartell and becoming an anchor and gathering place for the community once again,” Testa said.
It was Testa’s father who first opened a House of Pizza way back in 1964 in downtown St. Cloud. Brandon purchased that store from his father in 2000 but closed it in 2022, along with the Sartell one, largely due to staffing problems during the Covid pandemic. So instead, Tesla and staff put their energies and determination into ensuring the House of Pizza in west St. Cloud would remain open for diners, for take-out and for deliveries.
And now, he and his staff are looking forward to opening a House of Pizza store once again in Sartell – this time inside the Coborn’s Super Store.
