Jeff Kolb of Sartell is the new member of the Sartell Economic Development Commission.
He was appointed by the Sartell City Council at a special meeting July 31 to fill a vacancy on the commission. The previous member, Chad Zimmerman, who was the EDC’s chairman, resigned to accept an employment position in Iowa.
Kolb will serve on the commission to fill the rest of Zimmerman’s term, until Dec. 31, 2018.
Kolb is a senior home-mortgage consultant for Wells Fargo Bank. He graduated from Milaca High School, then earned a degree in finance from Bethel University in 1998. The other members of the EDC are Jim Illies Jr., Dawn Loberg, Mike Schoenecker, Bruce Stainbrook, David Switzer and Julie Whitney.
