Last week’s paper caught my eye because the editor used kind words saying Romney is a good man. I have asked the editor before to bring some facts, but yet another let-down. After four years, we have seen a change, for the worst. What terrifies me most is our national debt. How could a leader of any organization go to sleep at night knowing they have dug a business, family, church, newspaper or country into so much debt they will never see the light of day? It’s going to take a “bigger stick” and “kick-butt” attitude to keep us from bankruptcy. Our country is in trouble and we bury our heads in the sand, thinking the debt will go away by giving more foreign aid, bigger government, more “free” programs, taxing the rich and then having the “government” pay for it. I’ve got news for this paper and its editor, WE are the government. Time to get some people in office who can run a business, a government, take us out of the red and aren’t just in it to be career politicians. For the sake of our kids and grandkids, focus on a solution.
