A Watkins man was injured early Thursday, July 20, in a one-vehicle crash near Fruit Farm Road.
Edwin Allen Nelson, 34, was driving south on CR 50 near Fruit Farm Road when his vehicle left the road on a curve.
The vehicle hit a driveway approach, launching it into trees on the other side of the driveway, according to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle came to rest between trees and a power pole, trapping Nelson inside. CR 50 was shut down while Nelson was extricated from the vehicle after the 1:15 a.m. crash. Nelson was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The St. Joseph Police Department assisted Stearns County.
