[/media-credit] On March 15, students at St. John’s Prep organized the third annual Blood Drive with the American Red Cross. Students included (from left to right): Alivia Tacheny, junior, daughter of Rose and Greg Tacheny, Cold Spring; Genevieve Faith, junior, daughter of Dru and Andrew Faith, St. Cloud; Gabrielle Martone, junior, daughter of Lisa and Mark Martone, St. Joseph; Zach Dehler, senior, son of Mary and Al Dehler, St. Joseph; and Ashley Nneji, junior, daughter of Monique and Chukwuma Nneji, Nigeria. A total of 44 units were collected from students, faculty/staff and friends of St. John’s Prep. This was a 42- percent increase from the 31 pints collected last year. Two St. Joseph students were recently named to the fall semester dean’s list at Bemidji (Minn.) State University.
