St. Joseph Farmers’ Market
celebrates 25 years
The St. Joseph Farmers’ Market is celebrating its 25th anniversary season. Get produce and artisan goods direct from local growers and makers from 3 – 6 p.m. every Friday in the parking lot on Hwy. 2 at Resurrection Lutheran Church and Lake Wobegon Trailhead. Locally-produced items include the following: vegetables, fruit, eggs, meat, bread, coffee, honey, maple syrup, herbs and spices, flowers and starter plants and personal-care items such as candles, wool, jewelry and other artisan-made items.
The Sartell-St. Stephen Preschoolers will be visiting the Sartell Community Center on Friday May 16 at 8:45-9:45am and 12:30-1:30pm. They have requested some volunteer readers to read stories to groups during each hour they visit. Please call Ann at 320-258-7324 to volunteer.
Summertime Pantown Car Show on Wednesday, June 11 for the Good Shepherd Nursing home residents. They will need your help to get ‘wheeled’ around to view and remember the well-cared-for cars of the past. Can you help? This is a highly anticipated yearly event, and the Pantowners have been so gracious to make this available to our community. Cookies and juice are served as they return. Enjoy the cars and the Good Shepherd Community. Contact Janette by June 4 if interested by calling 320-258-8661 or janetteditlefsen@gsc-mn.org.
