St Cloud farmers’ market opens Saturday, May 4
The St. Cloud Area Farmers’ Market is held from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday in the Lady Slipper parking lot Hwy. 23 and Sixth Avenue in downtown St. Cloud. The market offers baked goods, meats, preserves, various canned goods, bedding plants, caramel corn and many other treats and vendor-produced items.
Sartell Farmers Market opens Monday, May 6
Sartell Farmers Market opens for the summer season on Monday, May 6 from 3-6 pm. The market is located in Scheel’s Sports Complex parking lot again this year. With the nice weather, the market will have many great items available including meat, eggs, canned goods, caramel corn, honey, and seasonal vegetables.
St. Joseph Farmers’ Market opens Friday, May 10
The St. Joseph Farmers’ Market will open from 3-6 p.m. Friday, May 10 in the parking lot on Hwy. 2 at Resurrection Lutheran Church and the Lake Wobegon Trailhead. Purchase produce and artisan goods direct from local growers and makers. Listen to music from singer/guitarist Merritt Bussiere. Now in its 24th year, the market runs 23 Fridays. Stop by 25+ local vendor tents featuring the following: vegetables, fruit, eggs, meat, bread, coffee, honey, maple syrup, herbs and spices. Also, flowers, starter plants and native landscape. Parents of 2024 grads, please be aware your student should have received an email from the school with a link to an online form to collect bio information to be included in the 2024 Grad Tab publishing in the May 17 edition of the Sartell-St. Stephen Newsleader. Please check in with your student to ensure they turn in the information in a timely manner. Home-schooled students or those attending schools other than Sartell High School are also encouraged to submit their name, parents’ names, school they’re graduating from and future plans to be included separately in the May 17 edition.
