Dr. Kenneth Jones, professor of history, emeritus, S. Mary Grell/Robert Spaeth Teacher of Distinction, College of St. Benedict/St. John's University looks at questions like: How did World War II affect their lives? How did they respond? Should they be seen as earning the “Greatest Generation” label that Tom Brokaw popularized?
