Medical Arts Dental in Sartell redently broke ground for its new “home” in the city’s Medical Campus area, and it’s expected to be completed by early spring of 2026.
Its new address will be 159 Dehler Drive. Its current address is 165 19th St. S.
The reason for the new 8,000 square-foot building is to expand not only its current space from 11 to 18 dental-chair rooms. The enhanced building space will allow Medical Arts Dental to hire more specialists in various aspects of dental care.
The business is owned/operated by Dr. Steven Carlson, D.D.S., and Dr. Eric Christenson, D.D.S. They and their staff of 15 provide every conceivable type of dental care. The office manager is Ryan Mullaney.
“We’re all really excited to have more space and to able to treat more patients and to get people in promptly,” said Ryan Mullaney during an interview with the Newsleaders. He noted Medical Arts Dental was founded 25 years ago and that its current office opened in Sartell 18 years ago.
The new building is being constructed by Strack Construction of St. Joseph. Others contributing to the project are Design Tree Engineering of St. Cloud, Herzog Engineering of Spring Lake Park and Panacea Financial, headquartered in Little Rock, Ark.
Medical Arts Dental serves people from throughout central Minnesota and beyond. Its specialties include sedation dentistry, orthodontics, emergency and pain-relief surgery, implants and replacements, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and general and family dentistry.
