The annual Sartell Memorial Day ceremony will take place starting at 9 a.m. Monday, May 25 at Veterans Park in the city.
The park is located on Riverside Drive on the west side of the river, just north of Riverboat Depot and across the street from Watab Park.
The event is sponsored by the American Legion Post 277 of Sartell. As always, there will be the Presentation of the Colors by Legion members, the playing of Taps, a gun salute, short speeches and patriotic music by the Sartell Community Band. Although there are bleachers set up in the park, it’s recommended people bring lawn chairs.
