I am writing to encourage the residents of the Sartell-St. Stephen School District to vote for Michelle Meyer for the two-year term on the school board.
I worked with Michelle as a colleague on the school board from 2000-2008. Michelle was an outstanding board member and leader who always had the education of the students as her top priority, while remembering the board’s responsibility of keeping a balanced budget. Michelle’s leadership and dedication showed as she was elected board chair twice in her tenure on the school board.
Michelle continues to be involved with the school district (Sartell-St. Stephen Education Foundation Board, Sartell All-Sports Booster Club and Sartell Middle School Parent Advisory Committee) as well as the community (Pinecone Central Park Fundraising and Central Minnesota Community Foundation Board of Directors).
Michelle is always willing to listen to community concerns and will work hard to help come up with resolutions to solve these concerns. Michelle’s previous experience on the school board and her continued interest with school activities makes her a knowledgeable and energetic candidate for the two-year term on the Sartell-St. Stephen School Board.
