Michael J. Meyer, 45

Sartell

Aug. 1, 1980-Aug. 28, 2025

Michael J. Meyer, 45, of Sartell died Aug. 28.

His funeral will be held at noon Friday, Sept. 12 at Atonement Lutheran Church, 1144 29th Ave. N., St. Cloud. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Meyer was born Aug. 1, 1980 in St. Cloud, Minn. to Jeffrey and Barbara (Bruggeman) Meyer. He graduated from Sartell High School in 1999 and went on to attend Central Lakes College in Brainerd. He later returned to St. Cloud and was employed in the hospitality industry.

Meyer was a kind, thoughtful person who shared joy wherever he went. Two of the most important things in his life went hand in hand; family and fishing. There was nothing more important to him than his relationship with his twin, Tiffany. Meyer took on the role of protector caring for, and ensuring the safety of, Tiffany and Ruby. He made sure others were OK and had a knack to anticipate people’s needs, leading by example of how loved ones should be cared for. He had a great sense of humor with most interactions leading to laughter. Meyer and his best friend, Tiffany, were passionate about movies with comedies being his favorite. He was also a Dallas Cowboys fan only to irritate his dad, an avid Vikings fan. Meyer never met a road trip he didn’t enjoy, whether it was a boy’s trip with dad or a family trip to Grand Marais.

Survivors include the following: his parents, Jeff and Barb of Sartell; twin sister, Tiffany of St. Cloud; aunt and uncle, Deanna and George Lemmon of Marcel; aunt Donna Meyer of Harris; many cousins; close family friends, Nicole and David Wickman of Crystal, Minn.; Lance and Holly Levasseur of Tulsa, Okla.; and Ed and Joyce Hassing of Randall.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Irene Meyer and Howard and Lela Bruggeman; uncle, Ron Meyer, aunt and uncle, Eloise and Ken Richmond; cousin, Craig Meyer; and close family friends, Larry and Paulette Levasseur.
