Applications are being accepted for the title of 2013 Miss Teen Stearns County.
If you are single, have never been married and are between the ages of 13 to 18 years, you may qualify.
Miss Teen Stearns County will represent her county at the Miss Teen Minnesota pageant, which will be held March 16 at Ritsche Auditorium, March 16-17 in St. Cloud.
The young lady chosen as “Miss Teen Stearns County” will become an ambassador from Stearns County Area and will receive an official title and sash.
The young lady chosen as Miss Teen Minnesota will receive a prize package and scholarship totaling $10,000 and the chance to represent Minnesota at the 2013 Miss Teen International pageant.
The American Heart Association’s “Go for Red for Women” is the official charity of the Miss Teen Minnesota Pageant.
The current reigning 2012 Miss Teen Minnesota is Gabby Taylor of Stillwater. As Miss Teen Minnesota, Taylor speaks out on “Accidents Hurt, Safety Doesn’t.” Dec. 17, 2009 changed Taylor’s life in an instant when she lost the use of her right arm when it was paralyzed due to a devastating cheerleading accident. Taylor says what happened to me could happen to anyone involved in extra-curricular sports. She wants to educate students and coaches on injury prevention and safety awareness.

Teens will compete in personal interview, fitness wear, fun fashion wear and evening gown. There is no talent or swimsuit competition.
