New music store opens
Riff City Guitar and Music Co. opened Monday at 708 Elm St. E. in St Joseph.
The store will specialize in sales, service and repair of guitars, percussion and electronic music equipment. Riff City Guitar is the newest local Fender-Musical-Instrument-authorized retailer. Along with Fender, Riff City will also carry fine musical instruments from Schecter, Godin, Sequel, Gretsch and many more. The store is having its grand opening Nov. 8-10. Thursday and Friday hours will be 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Bring in any six-string acoustic or electric guitar and get new Fender strings put on for free by the Fender factory representatives (while supplies last). Optional nonperishable food-shelf-item donations are appreciated. For additional information, view the website at riffcityguitar.com.
