Nov. 1 Sartell police blotter

Crime Stoppers offers rewards up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a crime.

Oct. 8
4:29 p.m. Disorderly conduct. Twin Rivers Court. Officers were dispatched to a disorderly man at the location. Officers went inside to find the suspect leaning up against the food prep area. The suspect began walking aggressively toward the officer and ignoring several commands. The suspect was eventually tased and placed into custody. Employees stated the man became angry after being told he could not watch how his food was prepared from behind the counter. No one was hurt and the suspect was taken to the Stearns County jail awaiting potential charges.

Oct. 10
11:08 a.m. Unwanted person. Second Street S. Officers responded to an unwanted-person complaint. The caller stated there was a woman in the store digging in the trash and causing an issue with staff. Officers arrived and spoke with the woman who stated she goes around looking for cans to collect. The woman was cooperative and stated she would not come back and left.

Oct. 12
8:59 p.m. Property damage. Heritage Drive. Officers were called for a property-damage accident. The caller stated they fell asleep at the wheel, drove off the roadway and struck a mailbox. Officers spoke with the property owner about the accident and photographed the damage. Both parties were given an accident exchange form.

Oct. 15
2:01 p.m. Crash. 15th Street S./Pinecone Road. Officers were called to a two-vehicle crash. The driver of the first vehicle stated they were backing up their truck and was unaware someone had stopped behind them. The truck then struck the front bumper and hood of the second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle stated they did not have time to move their vehicle before it was hit. Both vehicles had minor damage and no one was hurt.

Oct. 18
2:58 p.m. Exposure. Pinecone Road S. Officers received an exposer complaint. The caller reported a man was laying in the grass and had exposed himself by urinating in public. Officers found the man who stated he was waiting for the bus. The man admitted to urinating in the bushes by the bus stop. Officer gave the man a verbal warning and stated there were other options if he needed to use the restroom.

Oct. 20
7:27 a.m. Gunshots. Third Street S. Officers were dispatched to the area for shots fired. The caller reported hearing what sounded like four to five shots coming from the west. Officers arrived on scene and did not hear any gunfire. Officers were then called to another location along Riverside Avenue N. for a similar complaint but heard nothing. Officers believed it may have been hunters for goose season.
