contributed photo April Myers (right) was honored as Grand Marshal of the Sauk Rapids River Days Parade in 2016 when she was named the city’s Citizen of the Year. Widely lauded and appreciated for her love of people and for volunteering, Myers died in 2018 of brain cancer. At left is her husband, Scott, with daughter Megan in the middle.
