The St. Joseph City Council agreed to push back the official sale of the old city hall, 25 College Ave. N., to Bad Habit Brewing Company.
Bad Habit owner Aaron Rieland asked for an extra 30 days to complete due diligence on the property, according to the amended purchase agreement submitted to the council July 2.
The new closing date was set for Aug. 16, according to purchase agreement.
The final purchase price has not been settled. If the city finances the sale, the price will be $400,000. If the buyer provides financing, the sale price will be $390,000.
