Community members are invited to an open house retirement celebration for Superintendent Jeff Schwiebert from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at Blackberry Ridge, 3125 Clubhouse Road, Sartell.
All guests are requested to follow masking and social distancing guidelines. Schwiebert announced his plans in December 2020 to retire in June 2021.
Schwiebert served seven years as a superintendent in Sartell-St. Stephen, seven years at the Mount Vernon Community School District and five years at the North Scott Community School District in Iowa. During his tenure, the school district went through major facility work including building a new high school and renovating and reconfiguring grade levels at all other school buildings.
