We need a Congressional representative who will fight for our interests, for democracy and for the poor and middle class.
We need someone to protect reproductive rights, the rule of law, religious freedom, Medicare, Social Security, a healthy environment and public education. A person who makes decisions based on science and facts, not on conspiracy theories. That person is Jeanne Hendricks.
Tom Emmer, our current representative, does not represent our interests. He voted against the infrastructure bill but then was quick to take credit for bringing billions to Minnesota. He says he supports the police, yet voted against funding the Capitol Police, the ones who saved his life on Jan. 6. He says he is for the working class, yet voted for tax cuts for the rich. He supports tariffs that will raise the cost of products. He voted against letting Medicare negotiate for lower drug prices. He wants to end women’s rights to control their own bodies. He complains about migrants, yet he and colleagues refused to consider a Senate bipartisan bill because Trump wants to use the immigration issue as a talking point. Emmer needs to go. Still not convinced? Then read the Republicans’ playbook, “Project 2025.”
The Republican party is about doom, gloom, divisiveness and control. The Democratic party is about joy, hope, unity and freedom. We in District 6 have a chance to protect our future by voting in Kamala Harris-Tim Walz, and Amy Klobuchar for Senator and Jeanne Hendricks for Congress.
