Just wanted to let everyone know what a great job the Lions Club and St. Joseph Township has done this past year with the park along College Avenue S.
The Lions Club tore down the old playground last fall and replaced it with a new one this spring. We saw a big increase in children coming to play and the excitement and laughter was nice to see.
The township did landscaping, reseeded, repaired the sprinkler system, cut down and trimmed trees, fixed the brick on the hall, and resealed and striped the parking lot.
From what it was this spring with construction to where it is today is remarkable. As we live next door to the park, we were able to watch the progression and are so thankful for all the people who were involved in making the park so clean, beautiful and fun to play in.
