The Sauk Rapids Fire Department hosted its annual collection for Toys for Tots Dec. 5. This is the first year both a pickup truck and a boat have been filled with toys. They attribute the success of this drive to wider promotion through means of newspapers, radio and school announcements.
Thanks to the generosity of those who came to the fire station and those who donated during the parade, firefighter Neil Bueckers delivered a truck and a boat-load of toys to Catholic Charities on Dec. 10.
The Sauk Rapids Ambassadors stopped by the fire station on Dec. 5 during the Toys for Tots drive.
