A “Minnesota Twins” quilt is lovingly stitched together by members of the St. Joseph Parish Quilting Group at The Gathering Place. Five of the dozen or so women who were working on the quilt when this photo was taken April 15 are (left to right) Linda Loso, St. Joseph; Ilene Schmitt, St. Joseph; Ione Jacobs, St. Cloud; Pat Henning, St. Cloud; and Geri Schwab, St. Joseph. The quilt commemorates the Twins’ 2023 championship in the American League’s Central Division. The queen-sized quilt will be auctioned off, along with many other quilts, at the St. Joseph Fourth of July Festival.
