Indoor pickleball ending
Friday, May 24 will be the final indoor pickleball session at Kennedy Community School. After that, enthusiasts will find outdoor games in nearby towns. Outdoor pickleball courts will be built later this year at Millstream Park, but no time line is yet available.
Movie in the park
“The Sandlot” is the movie that will be shown at Millstream Park at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18. Concession treats will be available to purchase. “The Sandlot” is a 1993 coming-of-age sports comedy. It’s about a group of young baseball players in the summer of 1962.
Business dodgeball
The first-ever business dodgeball event will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 29. Businesses need an eight-person team to play indoors at Kennedy Community School. Cost is $20 per team. Registration is required by Monday, May 20. Contact dhaider@cityofstjoseph.com with questions.
