The Church of the Sacred Heart hosted its annual parish festival Aug. 23 on the church grounds. The festival had lots of kids’ games, as well as a country store where people could buy jewelry and other goods. It also featured music and games of chance like turkey-and-ham bingo along with raffle items.

With books in hand, Sauk Rapids residents, Katelyn and Julie Waldoch, 6 and 7 respectively, look at books from the book sale on the very chilly day Aug. 23 at the Sacred Heart Parish Bazaar.

Lea Jackson, Sauk Rapids, holds her 3-year-old son Kyler, up so he can peek into a 2002 Chrysler Prowler Aug. 23 at the Sacred Heart Parish Bazaar. The bazaar was very cold, but the locals bundled up and had a great time.
