The annual “Santa Paws” pets-and-people photo sessions will take place Nov. 15-17 at the Tri-County Humane Society in East St. Cloud.

“Santa Paws” is an ideal way to get top-quality photos taken. Many people use the photos to have printed on Christmas cards to send to loved ones, relatives and friends; or to have the photo(s) framed for a home wall.

“Santa Paws” is one of the many fundraising events TCHS hosts every year to help raise money to take care of the many homeless pets the humane society cares for and adopts out to people wanting a pet.

For a charge of $50, people can get photos taken and receive five portrait photos on a flash drive and publishing rights for those photos, all taken by three professional photographers.

Each photo-session appointment will take about five minutes.

To schedule a time-slot photo appointment online, visit tricountyhumanesociety.org. Then scroll down until you see “2024 Santa Paws Holiday Portraits.” Click on that and then scroll down again until you see the large photo of a happy couple holding their three cats and two dogs.

Under the photo to the left, you will see “RELATED LINKS: Sign Up For Santa Paws.” Click on that. On the page that pops up, there is a calendar showing the three dates for “Santa Paws” – Nov. 15, 16, 17. Click on which of those dates for which you’d like to make a photo-session appointment. The new page will show you many blocks of time for which you can choose to make the appointment. Then follow the prompts from there.

Here are the dates and times:

Friday, Nov. 15, time blocks from 5:50 p.m. to 7:50 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 16, time blocks from 9:35 a.m. to 4:35 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 17, time blocks from 9:15 a.m. to 4:25 p.m.

TCHS will also accept walk-in appointments, although the people and pets might have to wait until a time block is available.

The photos will be taken in the building right next to the main TCHS animal shelter. The building is where the “For Pets-Sake Thrift” is housed.

Any questions? Call the TCHS at 320-252-0896.
