A Sartell man was arrested for alleged attempted robbery of a SuperAmerica store March 28 in Waite Park.
Dylan Odegard, 22, is alleged to have walked into the store at about 5:30 p.m. and then threatened a clerk. According to the police report, he had a handgun with him. He was wearing sunglasses, a hoodie and a bandanna.
No money was exchanged, and nobody was hurt in the incident.
According to witnesses, Odegard then left the store, got into a vehicle and drove off. A Sartell police officer later spotted the vehicle, stopped it and took Odegaard into custody. He was taken to the Stearns County Jail and is expected to be charged with attempted robbery.
