The Sartell-St. Stephen school district  is hosting the third annual Sabres VEX EDR Robotics Tournament from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Sartell Middle School. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.

Teams from across the state will compete in two specialties: the Elementary and Middle School Tournament in the South Gym will feature 36 VEX IQ teams and the Middle School and High School Tournament in the North Gym will feature 44 VEX EDR teams.

Robotics competitions are an opportunity for elementary, middle school and high school students to demonstrate team work, creativity, problem-solving and engineering as they work together with other teams throughout the day.
