Brittney Schoephoerster has been named the new principal for Riverview Intermediate School in Sartell.
That new job will start on July 1.
Schoephoerster has served as the assistant principal of Riverview Intermediate School since it opened in 2020. Previously, she was the assistant director of Athlos Academy in St. Cloud.
Schoephoerster earned a master’s degree in education from the College of St. Scholastica and an undergraduate degree in elementary education from the College of St. Benedict.
“We are proud to announce Brittney as the new principal of Riverview Intermediate School,” said Superintendent Michael Rivard. “As Riverview’s assistant principal since its opening, Brittney has helped shape the school’s strong culture, vision and commitment to student success. Her proven leadership in instructional practices, community engagement and student support make her the ideal choice to lead Riverview forward.”
Schoephoerster commented on her new job:
“I am deeply grateful,” she said, “for the opportunity to continue serving this incredible school community as Riverview Intermediate School’s next principal. It’s an honor to grow in the role alongside the students, staff and families who make this place so special. I look forward to building on what we’ve started – together.”
Schoephoerster succeeds Riverview Intermediate School Principal Dr. Zachary Dingmann, who was chosen by the Melrose School District to serve as its superintendent.
