At 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, the Sauk Rapids-Rice School Board will host its regular meeting at the District Office Board Room at the Sauk Rapids-Rice High School, 1833 Osauka Road N.E. At the meeting, which is open to the public, the Rego and Younquist architect, who was hired by the board last year, will present information on the facility study, showing predictions of upkeep, costs, current facilities, projections for enrollment for the next 10 years and capacity and utilization of the current buildings.
After the meeting, a community group will come together to talk about and evaluate options at three two-hour meetings, one each in January, February and March. Then, the group will make a recommendation in June to the school board on how to proceed.
