The Central Minnesota Community Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s Awards in Philanthropy. Mark Thelen will receive the Alex Didier Award in Philanthropy, Bill Martin-Chaffee will receive the Social Trust Award, and Rick Bauerly will receive the Community Builder Award. These individuals will be honored at the CMCF Annual Celebration of Philanthropy event that will take place from 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Holiday Inn in St. Cloud.

(we need her last name in order to publish) from Pine Meadow Elementary is one of 15 teachers to receive supplies from the annual Magnifi Financial Credit Union’s Teachers’ Wish List sweepstakes. Each winner educator will receive $150 worth of school supplies to help enhance their classrooms and support their students’ learning experiences.
John Haws, former head soccer coach for St. John’s University, has been selected as the new director of development for the Catholic Community Schools, a consolidated PreK-12 Catholic school system consisting of seven schools in the St. Cloud area. He began his new position Sept. 3.
