Annual McCarthy Lecture set Sept. 19

Grant funding now available
The Bernick Family Foundation is offering $200,000 in grant funding to eligible programs in their territories in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Organizations that support youth in building their career skills or support activities that address active lifestyles, are encouraged to apply for a Bernick Family Foundation grant. Microchip clinic set Sept. 7
Tri-County Humane Society is hosting a pet microchip event on Saturday, Sept. 7. No appointment is needed for this walk-in-only clinic. The clinic will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. during Woofstock, our annual Companion Walk for Animals at Wilson Park in St. Cloud. The cost is $10 plus tax. Microchipping your pet takes only a few minutes, and TCHS staff will register the chip ASAP. After your pet is chipped, stick around for the rest of the Woofstock fun. Back-to-school clothing drive seeks donations
Help kids get ready for school by donating youth clothing to Catholic Charities Basic Everyday Essentials program. Donate gently used clothing including jeans, sweatshirts, shoes, gym shoes, T-shirts and new underwear and socks. Donations can be delivered to 157 Roosevelt Road, Suite #100, St. Cloud. Donations are accepted from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays and Friday, and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesdays. Days of Caring to be Sept. 16-20
Join United Way of Central Minnesota for Day(s) of Caring from Sept. 16-20. Sign up to be part of Central Minnesota’s largest volunteer event.
