Doug Danielson is the newest member of the St. Joseph Economic Development Authority.
The St. Joseph City Council unanimously approved the appointment of Danielson July 5.
Danielson, a manager at Sentry Bank in St. Joseph, fills the seat once held by Chad Davey. In a letter to the mayor and members of the EDA, Davey resigned from the EDA last month, citing a heavy workload and an unpredictable schedule.
EDA board members expressed their gratitude for Davey’s service during their June 20 meeting.
The St. Joseph EDA meets at 5 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month at St. Joseph City Hall. The next meeting is July 25.
