A St. Joseph Scavenger Hunt will begin Sept. 19 when the clues to six locations to find will be posted that day on the city’s Facebook page.
The hunt will officially end Sept. 30.
Using the clues, “scavengers” will walk throughout the city, seeking to find the places that match each of the six clues.
Here is one of the six clues: “A place to rest your feet in the middle of Chapel Lane near First Avenue and Main Street.”
To win one of four prizes, the finders will then take photos of what they found and email the photos to the city at jruell@cityofstjoseph.com.
So far, two prizes have been announced, donated by St. Joseph businesses: Candles and a gift card from WR Home & Company and T-shirts from Sal’s Bar and Grill. The other two prizes, once they are available, will be announced soon.
The scavenger hunt is just one of many fun activities for people of all ages in St. Joseph this fall (see related story in this edition).
