The ever-popular televised Fox 9 Town Ball Tour is making a stop in St. Joseph July 5 when the St. Joseph Joes play a home game versus Avon at 6:30 p.m.
The Town Ball Tour is a televised series throughout the summer by Fox 9 News at Minnesota baseball parks that feature live broadcasts of interviews with players, coaches, fans and interesting tidbits about the towns featured in the series.
Besides St. Joseph, the upcoming Town Ball Tours will happen at Gaylord June 21, at Litchfield June 28, at Forest Lake July 12 and at Lonsdale July 19. The Town Hall Tours have already been broadcast from Freeport and New Market.
The St. Joseph Joes’ baseball season, sponsored by Sentry Bank, started on May 13. Its upcoming games include the July 5 Town Ball Tour one at St. Joseph with Avon, as well as the following ones:
June 17: Away game vs. Kimball. 1 p.m. League game.
June 18: Home game vs. Sartell Muskies. 1:30 p.m.
June 21: Away game vs. Luxemburg. 6:30 p.m.
June 24: Home game vs. Sartell Stone Poneys. 1:30 p.m. League game.
June 25: Home game vs. Sauk Rapids. 1:30 p.m. League game.
June 28: Home game vs. St. Augusta. 6:15 p.m.
July 8: Home game vs. Rogers. 1:30 p.m. League game.
July 9: Home game vs. Albertville. 1:30 p.m. League game.
July 14: Away game vs. Sartell Stone Poneys. 7:30 p.m. League game.
July 16: Away game vs. Clearwater. 2 p.m. League game.
July 19-30: League playoffs.
Aug. 2-13: Regionals.
Aug. 18-Sept 4: State tournament.
