The city of St. Stephen has closed public access to City Hall effective March 16. This includes the Council Chamber of City Hall. This will be in effect until further notice.
Essential public safety services will continue and public safety personnel will follow their own set of protocol for responses. City Hall employees will continue to serve the public via phone or email.
“It is our goal to react to the Covid-19 events with responsibility but not panic,” Mayor Jeff Blenkush said in a statement.” Operations will continue and we are simply looking for effective ways to protect our employees and the community while still providing the best service possible.”
