Central Minnesota Foster Grandparent Program
The Central Minnesota Foster Grandparent Program, sponsored by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud, would like to thank our nation’s veterans for their bravery and sacrifice.
There are five Foster Grandparent volunteers serving the western Minnesota region who are U.S. Veterans. One of the five is Kevin McCarthy, U.S. Navy, who volunteers at Pine Meadow Primary in Sartell.
These volunteers demonstrated strength and bravery while serving their country. Today they continue to serve their country through AmeriCorps Seniors, sharing their knowledge and experiences with children through tutoring and mentorship. These volunteers have committed more than 3,000 hours to the program.
Today, we salute you, we thank you and we honor your service.
