As superintendent of the Sartell-St. Stephen School District, I want to thank you for participating in the May 24 school district’s bond referendum.
We greatly appreciate all who took the time to vote in this election. Our democracy depends on the involvement of our citizens. With a majority voting in favor of the bond, we will now move forward with the plans that were outlined in the proposal that include safety and security updates, providing more space for all students through the addition of a high school, and creating more flexible learning spaces for the next generation of learners.
We pledge we will be transparent in this process and use your tax dollars wisely, efficiently and with a focus on student learning. We appreciate your support and understand the importance of managing these funds in an open and honest fashion. We will add timely updates to our website and will work with local media to continue to provide information to the public.
