I am an eighth-grader who attends Sartell Middle School, and I am very concerned about the direction of this country. President Trump was elected in November and took office this January and so far it’s been nothing but garbage like tariffs that (despite what he and his supporters say) are generally not helping. Inflation, which he promised would be fixed, has not been and may get worse.
Foreign policy? The Ukraine War Trump said he would end in 24 hours. The Israel-Hamas war was ended (for awhile), but Biden’s administration started the process for ending that war. Recently there was that whole group-chat frenzy and honestly everyone who was involved should lose their jobs because someone should have definitely spoken up because there was a chance this information could have led to many soldiers losing their lives.
Now, as for abortion, what happens when people start DYING because they can’t get an abortion? I would like an answer. You know it’s bad when the stock market is down day after day and really the only stock up seems to be Elon Musk’s companies. Hmmm, I wonder why that is. Well, I guess all of us are going to just have to sit by and watch, and the Republicans can’t blame anyone when they have control over every aspect of the government.
