Trump & Co. accelerates vengeance rampage

Trump & Co. accelerates vengeance rampage

Once again, King Donald Trump has been throwing blustering temper tantrums on his website called “Truth Social” (ha-ha!). It should be dubbed “Untruth Anti-Social.”

Recently, he has been blasting musical celebrities like Bruce Springsteen who dare to express their abhorrence of Trumpian tactics. Those musical twerps have the gall to challenge King Donald’s all-knowing magnificence, his regal powers, even his (oops!) competence and (can you believe it?) his mental acuity.

During a concert in England, Springsteen told the audience Trump is wielding authoritarian powers.

He said this: “The America I love, the America I’ve written about that has become a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treacherous administration.”

The Donald shot back on “Truth Social” with one of his customary CAPITAL-LETTERED hissy-fits: “This dried out prune of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied) ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back to the country.” Springsteen, he wrote, is “just a pushy, obnoxious JERK.” (hey, look who’s talkin’!) That’s yet another example of Trump’s constant penchant for “projection” – that is, casting his own flaws (pushy, obnoxious, dried-out and more) onto anyone he hates or who disagrees with him.

Trump called for a “major investigation into this matter,” claiming Springsteen, Beyonce, Oprah, Bono and others were paid by the Kamala Harris campaign to endorse her for president. That’s “NOT LEGAL,” he posted. (Since when did King Donnie, ensconced snugly in his Kingdom, worry about what’s legal or not.)

When the “Royal He” is not carping about disloyal rock stars, he fumes about the 2020 election. In an “oh-poor-me” speech, he said this the other day:

“If they would’ve left us alone and wouldn’t have cheated on the election and wouldn’t have rigged it, I would’ve been retired right now. (oh, if only!) I would’ve been happily doing something else (so would we!), and instead they have me for four more years, can you believe that?” (sad to say, yes, we can believe that.) That’s one of his frequent speech tics: “Can you believe that?” (probably because he lies so often).

Would someone in HIS LaLa Land please tell Donnie he really DID win the 2024 election, that Harris (unlike him) DIDN’T claim it was “stolen.” Thus, the King should adjust his lopsided crown and keep his big mouth shut.

When he’s not belly-aching about that “rigged election” or claiming ad nauseum that he and his crowds are “THE BIGGEST AND THE BEST,” King Donald and his ring-kissing appointees (unqualified incompetents one and all), are accelerating their Rampage of Vengeance.

In “draining the swamp,” he and his angry alligators attack anything they happen to dislike. The chainsaw-wielding Elon Musk’s butchery was just the opening act.

Other acts of the Vengeance Rampage include:

• Imposing a lunatic flurry of tariffs that will hike consumer prices.
• Laying off thousands of federal employees, thus weakening agencies and the work they do to make lives better.
• Defunding the USAID program that fed hungry children and helped stop the spread of deadly diseases overseas – and here.
• Stifling many other agencies and programs that help the poor and disabled, that do vital scientific research, that keep the environment clean and more.
• Scoffing at judges’ orders, spurning the Constitution and Rule of Law.
• Getting rid of “green” programs initiated by Biden.
• Attacking universities, claiming they promote (hold your breath!) Diversity-Equity-Inclusion (horrors!).
• Vowing to slash Medicaid, another so-called “deficit-cutting” attempt that, in fact, mostly funnels taxpayers’ money to tax breaks for the Super Rich, as was “accomplished” in Trump’s first term. After that sleight-of-hand, Trump – at a Mar-a-Lago party for rich chums – crowed to his cronies, “Hey, you guys, I just made you a lotta money!”

This may just be wishful thinking, but Trump & Co. could be sowing the seeds of its own destruction. King Humpty Trumpty might have a big fall, when all MAGA horses and all MAGA men cannot put him together again.
