A two-vehicle accident April 13 near Paynesville sent three persons, two drivers and a passenger, to the hospital.
On April 13, 2025, at 5:47 p.m. the Stearns County Emergency Communication Center received a report regarding a two-vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of CR 16 and CR 130 in Zion Township. A 2008 Dodge Avenger, driven by John Weber, 67, of Hawick, was southbound on CR 16 and failed to stop for the stop sign. A 2013 Dodge Durango driven by Lisa Bagley, 55, of St. Cloud, was eastbound on CR 130 and was struck by Weber. Weber, Bagley and Bagley’s passenger, Jonaya Allen, 21, St. Cloud, were transported to the Paynesville hospital for treatment of their injuries. The crash is still under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Paynesville Police Department, Paynesville Fire Department and CentraCare-Paynesville ambulance.
