How do you create a downtown? You don’t. The core of a downtown has roots, much like your family of origin. South Sartell is NOT the core, nor does it have its roots. It’s suburbia; it’s all new.
Sartell City Council, find the core and roots, and name it “Downtown.” Does it have to be shopping and business-oriented? What do the words “Community CENTER” mean?
