The St. Joseph Fire Department conducted a controlled burn of an abandoned building on June 29, and the windy weather didn’t help when it came to dealing with the smoke.
While firefighters battled the blaze of the building, hundreds of onlookers gathered, trying to figure out what was happening.
Meanwhile, motorists along CR 75 did their best to drive through what was at times a blackout.
