ReStore volunteers needed
The ReStore is mainly staffed by volunteers. More volunteers are needed to help keep the store running smoothly. All the proceeds from the ReStore go to Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity to build more houses. It’s a great place to volunteer during the winter, or year around.
One-time volunteers: Volunteers are welcome to come for a one-day experience. Volunteers do tasks such as cleaning, organizing product, stocking shelves, riding in the truck to assist with picking up larger donated items and more. The tasks vary depending on the daily needs.
Ongoing volunteers: We also are looking for volunteers who will come regularly to the ReStore (approximately once a week) to do tasks such as: greeting customers and helping them shop, answering the phone, knowing what product we accept, riding in the truck to assist with picking up larger donated items, doing computer work and office tasks and more.
If you are interested in volunteering, call Melanie Blake at the Habitat office (320) 656-8890 ext. 104 or email [email protected].
